Next Generation Heart Failure Treatment Device

From August 2023 to October 2024, Delve worked with Abiomed on a next generation preCARDIA device. The client was looking to Delve’s expertise to overhaul their set-up workflow, and improve the holistic user-experience of the device. As the Lead Interaction Designer, I worked closely with our Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, and Human Factors teams to identify opportunities to redesign the product experience. We collaborated closely with the clients’ in-house engineering and clinical teams to ensure the product can be rolled out to an increased number of hospitals.
