My fiancee and I recently came back from a trip to France. One of my favorite things we got to see was the large Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard. I took about an hour to sit and do a quick sketch. Sketching arches in perspective is definitely challenging - you can see the faint lines in my sketch of trying to get the proportions right. It’s been awhile since I’ve done some sketching or any creative art due to burnout from work. I don’t think the trip fully remedied my burnout, but it was nice to open up the sketchbook again.
